Work has started on creating a new display gallery to show the history of personal computing from 1965 to 2005.
Work started in early 2008 on the restoration of an original 1965 DEC PDP8 mini-computer.
Systems from finance and banking.
Using some twelve punched card machines from Powers-Samas, we are planning to reconstruct an accounting office from the late 1940s.
We are planning to set-up a display gallery to show off some of the scientific and super computer systems we have in our collection.
Several of our volunteers are working on building a number of replica relay and serial computers from original articles in electronic magazines of the 50s and 60s.
Preliminary work has begun on another display gallery to show how computers have been used in creating graphics and music over the years.
