The Museum is best enjoyed by young people aged 7 and above.
We accept groups of up to 40 students. Depending upon the availability of volunteers, we will divide your group into small sets of 15 students and take them around the Museum separately. Volunteers give their time freely to the Museum and we would urge you to be accurate in your booking with the numbers of students you will bring. We wish to avoid arranging for more volunteers to be at the Museum than is needed.
The National Museum of Computing is hosted in a listed building but provides wheelchair access to all areas.
The Museum has working exhibits and you are reminded that these may include exposed components through which dangerous levels of electricity are passing. Children of all ages must be well supervised by their group leader and must never move behind the barriers erected in front of some machines.
School and College groups must be accompanied by teachers, lecturers or another responsible adults on the visit in the ratio of at least 10:1
School groups will be divided into smaller sets of students. At least one teacher or responsible adult must accompany each set.
