Warm congratulations to TNMOC trustee Margaret Sale, a winner of the Sunday Telegraph / Waitrose British Volunteer Awards for her work with the Bletchley Park Trust.

Margaret retired from her role as volunteer customer services manager for the Bletchley Park Trust earlier this year.

Fortunately, Margaret's volunteering now continues with The National Museum of Computing where she is now a trustee. Fantastic service, Margaret!

Margaret was nominated by Mike Chapman, a Bletchley Park Trust guide, who said: “Her commitment and enthusiasm are second to none, but what has really made her stand out for me is how she supports other volunteers. It doesn’t matter if you are an old hand or a novice, your involvement is welcomed.”

Here's the story in the Sunday Telegraph.

Margaret's award certificate is based on a drawing by the Daily Telegraph's distinguished cartoonist, Matt (see photo right).
