Secret crypto deal - new evidence

Post this page to popular social media

There is new evidence that suggests there was a secret deal between a leading code-machine company giving the US National Security Agency access to its best machines - machines they were selling to states across the world?

Gordon Corera, BBC's security correspondent often to be seen on BBC TV news, reveals the new evidence and examines its implications at the height of the Cold War for a BBC Radio 4 Programme. He came to TNMOC to talk to avid crypto collector John Alexander to find out more about the machines.

You can hear the programme on BBC Radio 4 live on Tuesday 28 July and on the BBC Radio iPlayer afterwards.

You can even see some of these machines at TNMOC Summer Bytes Festival during August. Look out for the Code-breaking and Enigma and Friends sessions.
