Award-winning sound artist and composer Matt Parker is at TNMOC recording the sounds of 70 years of computing as part of a new Arts Council funded project, The Imitation Archive. Here is the another soundbyte, this time of the Robinson, the electro-mechanical device that preceded and inspired Colossus.

You can read about the Robinson reconstruction here. The Robinson was named after Heath Robinson, the cartoonist famous for intricate contraptions.
