FUZE Coding Workshops

Post this page to popular social media

A hands-on and exciting coding club for ages 7 to 14. Come and learn all about coding and just how much fun it can be.

FUZE Workshops consist of a full day’s coding activities learning to code using a real text-based programming language. Children from 7+ get to code simple programs, control electronic circuits, interact with sensors and even code a robot arm. The activities are tailored to the individuals ability level so each student will progress at their own pace. This allows us to cater for mixed aged groups and abilities.

It's worth coming both days! FUZE has enough teaching material for around ten consecutive days, so multiple days provides extended learning, not repetition.

New to the workshops is the Retro computing & gaming section. Attendees get hands-on access to working consoles and computers from the early days of home computing. Systems include, BBC Micro, Commodore, Sinclair, Atari, Sega, Nintendo as well as few lesser known.

The FUZE Workshop price includes access to the Museum. This will be in groups supervised by FUZE staff at selected periods throughout the day.

The day starts at 9:00 and finishes at 3:30pm

A packed lunch is required.

If there are any special requirements (SEN / ASD) please let us know in advance.

One child for one day is £45 A second day or for a sibling is an extra £40.
