Minecraft Redstone Challenge and BBC micro:bit workshops in April. Now booking for 13 April 2017. Workshops run by Tablet Academy.

In the BBC micro:bit workshop children will learn how to code using blocks before moving on to text-based programming with Microsoft Touchdevelop.

The Minecraft Redstone Challenge is designed for children aged 9-13. They will learn how to build virtual working machines using a range of advanced blocks including Redstone. Prior experience of Minecraft would be beneficial

Adults wishing to partake in the workshops with their child can purchase a place of their own. Adults wishing to just accompany their child are free of charge.

If you wish to visit the museum on the same day, tickets will need to be purchased on the day. To attend the workshops only, does not require a museum ticket.
