As TNMOC celebrates the tenth anniversary of the rebuild of Colossus tackling Hitler’s most secret wartime messages, Phil Hayes will describe how the reconstruction of Colossus came into being despite the secrecy that surrounded it.

In 1994, decades after the last Colossus stopped working, Tony Sale and his team embarked on what turned out to be a 14-year reconstruction project with the bare minimum of information. Today, the Colossus Rebuild functions - how did they achieve that? Come and hear the story and see it in action.

The talk in the home of Colossus, Block H, recently hailed as one of England’s top 100 ‘irreplaceable places’, will be on 7 December at 6.30pm.
