D-Day - stepping back in time

D-Day will be remembered at TNMOC on Sunday 4 June 2017 with the help of Home Guard re-enactors, 1940s vehicles, Vickers gun emplacement, live radio transmissions with continental Europe - and of course the working rebuild Colossus.

FUZE Coding Workshops

A hands-on and exciting coding club for ages 7 to 14. Come and learn all about coding and just how much fun it can be on 1 June 2017 with FUZE. Learn to code simple programs, control electronic circuits, interact with sensors and even code a robot arm.

Premium Bonds at 60 - the Colossus connection

On 29 June 2017, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first Premium Bond prize, we will feature a reconstruction of ERNIE’s ancestor that demonstrated to an enthralled 1950s public how electronic noise can be used to generate random numbers.

Making IT Work conference

In May 2017, TNMOC and the BCS Computer Conservation Society are organizing a joint two-day meeting on computer conservation bringing together worldwide experts in computing and software conservation.

Minecraft and BBC Micro:bit workshops

Minecraft Redstone Challenge and BBC micro:bit workshops in Easter Bytes. Now booking for 13 April 2017. The workshops, run by Tablet Academy, are for children to learn to code in a fun and friendly way.
