Trustee Margaret Sale has won a thoroughly deserved Milton Keynes Community Impact Voluntary Award for her incredible work at the Museum and Bletchley Park over 25 years.
Margaret was presented with her award by John Cove, Director of MK Dons and Chief Executive of MK Dons SET, and Steve Walls (right), the compere for the awards ceremony.
In making the award, the judges said:
"Margaret is a genuine and truly humble person who has devoted so much of her time to Bletchley Park and The National Museum of Computing to honour wartime veterans and to preserve a memorial to their efforts.
"Margaret continues to lead and inspire volunteers to ensure everyone learns and understands the history and how technology has shaped and enhanced our lives."
Everyone at the Museum is delighted that Margaret has been publicly recognised for the amazing work she has done -- and continues to do -- at the Museum.
You'll find Margaret welcoming visitors in the Tunny Gallery (usually from Tuesday to Friday) retelling with as much enthusiasm as ever the story of the Breaking of Lorenz.
