The six-week long Summer Bytes Festival boots up on Saturday 26 July 2014 with a LEGO feature. The Festival runs every day 11am - 5pm until 2 September.

To start there will be ten glorious brick-strewn days when youngsters of all ages can indulge in the joys of LEGO. They will be able to:

  • build robots using LEGO Mindstorms EV3
  • see a LEGO robot solve the Rubik's Cube
  • enter a LEGO competition.

Here are some LEGO happenings at the previous Bytes Festival.

There's lots more to do every day during Summer Bytes at the home of Colossus:

  • Play vintage games from across several decades
  • Hunt for golden eggs in the Bletchley Park virtual maze - find the geese eggs and break the code!
  • Experiment with Raspberry Pi
  • Try out Fuze
  • Take your first steps with Coding
  • Use Minecraft for something very special
  • Test your knowledge with the Date Your Heritage Quiz for adults.
