Harwell / WITCH Restoration Project

The Harwell Dekatron Computer – more commonly known as the WITCH

 

You can help us restore the WITCH computer back to full working order, and have it become the world's oldest original working computer!

Below are pictures of the WITCH being assembled at the museum on the day of its arrival by WITCH restoration project team members Tony Frazer (white top), project leader, and Johan Iversen. It has been over 30 years since the complete system has been on show.
