TNMOC’s Lockdown Challenge Pages

WORD Challenges

Can you spot all the computing words in our word search, unscramble computing anagrams or decrypt the codes?

We may not be able to offer our Learning programme sessions, which is at the heart of our Museum, but we still want to support and give back to the community. These lockdown word based challenges have been put together by our Volunteers for you to try.

We hope that whilst you explore the challenges, it will inspire thoughts and conversation or support student studies by looking at our collection and through that, your computing history and the people involved. Some of the questions posed may include: Why it warrants being in a Museum? What was it developed for, what solutions or problems did it bring to industry? Who are the people who developed it - how and why?

More challenges will be added over the coming weeks, so check back regularly to see what’s new. Our volunteers have had a lot of fun creating and road-testing them, so we hope you, your families and teams enjoy them.

We welcome your support to keep our museum going - to find out how click here
