The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC), an independent charity has been presented with the highly esteemed Sandford Award for Heritage education, in recognition of its engaging, inclusive and diverse learning programme for STEM subjects.

Today, The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) announced the launch of its brand-new Ambassador Kids programme. The new programme will support the younger generations technology education through various activities and the museum’s vast collection of historical computers. With less children studying GCSE computer science than ever before, the programme hopes to inspire children to see technology in a different light – empowering them with the knowledge and passion to potentially explore a career in STEM later in life.

Following the success of its Microlympics online games tournament, The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) has launched a new competition inspired by the BBC Micro. Contestants will be asked to create an original piece of music for the introduction screen to a fictional game using a Raspberry Pi.
