Become a Supporter of The National Museum of Computing

Becoming a Supporter bestows many benefits and enables you to contribute to our ongoing success.

The Museum receives no government funding or Heritage Lottery Funding and is entirely dependent on industry and individuals for its existence and development.

If you are a UK taxpayer, we are able to increase the value of your support through Gift Aid. We can claim 25p for every £1 you donate, at no additional cost to you, aiding us in our mission to preserve computing history.

We offer 3 options to become a supporter; Annual, Plus One, and Lifetime. Benefits include:

  • Welcome pack (including Museum Guidebook, lapel pin, and Supporter badge).

  • Invitations to Supporters' Days (usually 3 per year) which include talks, behind the scenes access, and snacks/refreshments.

  • Early notification of the activities and successes of TNMOC.

  • An annual ticket to The National Museum of Computing.

  • Access to book all virtual events free.

  • Four free guest entries per year.

  • Quarterly newsletters.

  • 10% discount on our online shop.

  • Virtual access to library and archive materials upon request.

  • Discounted rates for hire of TNMOC facilities.

Annual Supporter

For a single named individual, on an annual subscription. Benefits are as above.

Annual Supporter Plus One

For two named individuals residing at the same address (e.g. a partner or a child), on an annual subscription. Benefits are as above.

Lifetime Supporter

For a single named individual. One single payment of £1000 or more entitles you to the benefits above, plus:

  • Unlimited free entry to the Museum.

  • Lifetime Membership Certificate.

  • Free use of the library to book small meetings (up to 10 people).
