STEM Family Activities at the Museum

Tuesday 17th Feb & Thursday 19th Feb 2026

Join us for two days of creative fun for the whole family! We will be hosting a range of drop-in sessions featuring a selection of our best STEM kit. Simply ask at the Admissions Desk upon arrival to see what is running.

What’s On Offer

Our educational STEM activities are the go-to events in Milton Keynes for children wanting to unlock their imaginations. We provide "byte-sized" tasters of coding, robotics, and augmented reality.

Explore a variety of kit that may include:

  • Robotics: Experiment with Sphero Bolts and Ozobots.

  • Programming: Dive into BBC micro:bits, Program 1980’S BBC micros and OSMO Augmented Reality.

  • Family Trails: Digital Trails.

  • Paper-Based Trails: Pick up one of our themed paper trails at the entrance to guide your family journey through the museum!

The Structure of the Day

You can join either session; both include full access to our working museum!

  • Session 1: 10:30 – 12:30

  • Session 2: 13:00 – 16:00

Important Information:

Supervision: These are not drop-off events; parental supervision is required at all times.

Suitability: Activities are suitable for all ages (Robotics specifically up to 15 years).

Fun Fact: These summaries were generated by AI (with a little human intervention)!
