Public opening hours - booking online is recommended

We usually open on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 10:30am to 4:30pm (Autumn/Winter), 10:30am to 5pm (Spring/Summer), and some bank holidays.

We recommend you BOOK ONLINE in advance of your visit, but we also welcome visitors on the day.

Last admission is 1 hour before closing, but we do recommend allowing at least 2 hours for your visit as there is a lot to see!

Entrance Fees

As an independent registered charity responsible for our own fundraising, sponsorship and management, your entry fee will help us maintain and grow our unique historic collection. Tickets can be purchased through the links below.

Adults (16+): £30.00

Concessions (60+/Students): £25.00

Children (5-15): £20.00

Family: £70.00 (2 Adults and up to 3 Children)

Day Tickets (One Day Entry)

Single day visit

Adults (16+): £20.00

Concessions (60+/Students): £15.00

Children (5-15): £12.50

Infant (Under 5s): Free

Family: £55.00 (2 Adults and up to 3 Children)

Carers (Accompanying a Paying Individual): Free

Blue Light card holders: Get 20% off admission (use promo code BLUELIGHT when booking)

Local residents (with valid ID): Get 50% off admission (use promo code LOCAL when booking). Valid for locals within a 10 mile Radius of the Museum

Note: We are phasing in a new ticket booking system to replace Eventbrite so please bare with us if you encounter issues in using the new system.
