MKARS Club event- Operating Portable by Bob Palmer (Zoo) M3DPQ.

  • The National Museum of Computing Block H, Bletchley Park Bletchley, England, MK3 6GX United Kingdom (map)

Operating portable can mean from the top of a mountain, on the beach, in the park or anywhere except home. Maybe you have to do it because you cannot erect antennas at home, maybe there is too much electrical noise at home, or you simply want to do it for fun. Whatever, it is a challenge and can also yield great results. Bob will share his experiences with us and give us ideas that we can use ourselves as the weather improves. We will follow up on this event later in the year with some practical examples outdoors at the TNMOC.
